I won a voucher!
I recently won a £50 Fiorelli voucher, awesome right? Fiorelli run a competition where you share a photo of your purchase on Instagram and/or Facebook, tag #FiorelliFor and you’ll be in with a chance to win! Considering I love Fiorelli bags and I take photos of my outfits (pretty) often… this was a fun competition entry for me. If you saw my ‘What’s in my handbag: City Edition‘ blog post – you’d have seen my latest Fiorelli purchase which was in fact, the winning image. I normally shop in the Fiorelli store in the Swindon Outlet but I often browse online as well. Therefore I already had my eye on a couple of bags. There’s a whole range of crossbody bags to choose from, so narrowing down my choices was tough. I knew the style I wanted, which was a start…
This is one of two bags I managed to get my hands on in the sale and I’m over the moon at my bargains. So, say hello to Fiona! I’m a huge fan of crossbody bags, which is something I never thought I’d say! They’re practical and if you find the right brand/design, they’re also a great edition to a great outfit. The second bag I picked up was also crossbody… but stay tuned for another blog post to see that one my friends. One great handbag at a time.

The Fiona unfortunately isn’t available online in black anymore (sorry guys!). However it is available in chestnut and wild mint – both for £27. But check in store because you never know. If you’re out of luck finding the Fiona in black, the Chelsea, Rosie and Bethnal are great alternatives. These are actually other crossbody bags I have my eye on and may be joining my handbag collection one day. That and a few shoulder bags and backpacks. I’m obsessed!
I find that Fiorelli bags are stylish and practical – two words that don’t often go together. The Fiona I bought as a casual throw on kind of bag, knowing that it’ll go with a lot of my everyday outfits. It’s deceivingly spacious which is a huge bonus considering it’s a small bag. I can easily carry around everything I need and also everything I unnecessarily need.
Styling a Fiorelli crossbody handbag
I styled it up with a simple ‘linen style’ playsuit and black sandals both from F&F Clothing (Tesco). The black Fiorelli bag matched the black sandals which for me, brought the outfit together nicely. It was a very ‘casual but nice’ look, which is pretty much my go to style. I always want to be casual but I always want to look a bit nice, you know?

Styling a Fiorelli crossbody handbag is easy, especially when you love, love, love the handbag. A casual style bag will go with your everyday outfits and a more ‘fancy’ bag (like my second purchase – stay tuned!) is perfect for more dressy occasions.
The Fiorelli hardware, the adjustable strap, the secret pocket under the front flap and the PU fabric is an excellent combination. ‘Fake leather’ can sometimes feel really cheap and nasty but Fiorelli have nailed the faux material. Helping the environment whilst making beautiful handbags. Good work.
