Your skincare routine should always involve lip care.
Lips are skin, after all, and it’s important to keep them hydrated. Lip care routines are simple, inexpensive if you want them to be and a quick addition to your skincare routine. I am forever battling with the condition of my lips, so for me, taking care of them is so important. My skin is so sensitive, which makes my lips this way too.
Here is my 3 Step Lip Care Routine.
I suffer with dry lips which can make them quite flakey. To remove the dead skin I use the Bubblegum lip scrub from Lush. It smells (and tastes) delicious and it’s not harsh on my lips. I tend to use this every other day, or every couple of days to keep my lips looking smooth.
For hydration with a lip balm, I use the 8 Hour Cream from Elizabeth Arden. I swear by this product. It’s so hydrating, gives a nice shine to my lips and lasts. I wouldn’t say it lasts 8 hours as I apply this product at least 4 times a day, but I adore it and it does the trick.
As an extra product, for when I want my lips to look a little more plump I use the Superskin Superlip balm from Liz Earle. This product, I find, isn’t hydrating long term but boy oh boy, does it plump my lips.
I find that my 3 Step Lip Care Routine works well so well for my lips and I adore the products I use. I am however, always on the look out for new products to try so let me know what your favourite lip care products are!
