Skincare is my favourite topic of conversation.
Ermana Skincare products are made from a blend of botanical and all things natural. No paragons, sulphates or artificial fragrances or colourings. Perfect for my skin type which is sensitive skin which is allergic to everything and anything. I have three reasons why I like this brand and I feel like I have so much to say on the topic, that I don’t really know where to begin. It’s not often I am stuck for words.
I am really excited to share with you my Ermana Natural Skincare Review on a couple of their products.
Ermama’s ethos is about caring what we put on our bodies. Ingredients are high quality and organic and there’s a range for everyone. Men, women and expectant mums. The brand is based in Oxfordshire which is where I am from. I love knowing these natural products I am using were made locally, there’s something so satisfying about that. My entire career (in different areas of work) has been based around supporting small shops and independent businesses, directly and indirectly. Supporting local brands really resonates with me and more than ever I am trying to shop local brands before mainstream.
Lets start buy judging a book by it’s cover.
This packaging is beautiful and pleases the simplicity and monochrome lover within me. A simple, quirky and timeless design with a flash of colour for the type of product. The child within me wants to colour in the box a little, I’m not going to lie. I am big on packaging and I judge how pretty, practical and recyclable it is from different brands – Ermana ticks all 3 boxes.
Within the Renew Gift Set I was kindly gifted was the Revive Face Oil, with Lavender and Frankincense. I’ve never used a product with Frankincense in before but I’m about to turn 26 so I think it’s time to start with the anti ageing products. That way, by the time I am 60 I will look 35. Good plan, right? With all jokes aside, I do want to consider looking after my skin more because without being a “debbie-downer”, I’m not getting any younger and now is the time to start taking care of myself and the skin that I am in. This oil has Vitamin E in which helps aid cell regeneration, something which I look for in creams for my Psoriasis. It smells sweet and fresh and is super soothing when you apply to the skin. The lavender scent is subtle but noticeable. This has been in my skincare routine for a few weeks, to really get a feel for the product. My skin has become hydrated, firmer and more dewy (thanks for noticing Mum!). 2-3 drops morning and night is plenty. A little goes a long way and it soaks really nicely into my skin. I’m obsessed with this face oil, it’s official.
I am very much into my balm cleansers and this cleanse balm with Grapefruit and Galbanum smells divine. I never use fragranced products because of my sensitive skin however this is naturally fragranced. Naturally fragranced products never smell as good as this, that’s a fact. When I first scooped a bit out for use, it was misleading. The product initially feels quite grainy and almost like an exfoliating product. However once I started to rub the product between my fingertips it slowly melted and became a soft oil. It’s so thick and nourishing with the beeswax, sheds and coconut butters, all that I love in a cleanser. Using the muslin cloth it came with is a total dream. When I pop that hot cloth over my face I genuinely feel like I am having a beauty treatment, it’s lovely. My skin hadn’t reacted well to the change in the weather and I was struggling with rough, dry skin. This balm pulled me through that stage and has kept my skin hydrated and soft. Anyone with sensitive skin who doesn’t use fragranced products, this is a dream product for you. You can finally enjoy a lovely smelling product without any issues of a reaction (but of course, first test to see if this works for you as everyone is different).
At the risk of sounding like a geek, I am thrilled to have products in my routine which are natural, kind to my skin, great smelling and made locally. What more could I want?
I hope you enjoyed my Ermana Natural Skincare Review. lf you’ve tried the products, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Take a look at the Ermana Natural Skincare website here.
