I have been trying to grow my hair long since birth. Seriously. I have always wanted long hair but it never seemed to grow past a certain point, so I’d get frustrated and cut it off or dye it which would leave it in a terrible condition. Finding the perfect hair care is like finding the perfect skincare, there are so many options and so much to consider. I wanted to share my favourite hair care products that I am forever repurchasing because when you know something is good, why not share it?

Bed Head Ego Boost is the ultimate leave in conditioner. It goes on wet and dries leaving your hair looking exactly as it did before the product went on. There’s no stickiness, your hair isn’t hard or oily and you’d never actually know there was conditioner on the ends of your hair. I don’t quite understand how it can be so good, with all the others I’ve tried and failed, but it is. Good job Bed Head! It’s really nourishing to the ends of my hair and I have super dry ends. Using this has stopped my hair snapping as much as it used to, I’d go as far to say it hardly ever snaps off. You can often find this product at the cost of £10 but I bought it from B&M for £7!
OGX Coconut Milk Anti Breakage Serum is a dream. I put it on the ends of my hair every other day. It’s the first step after I’ve washed my hair and the last step when I’ve dried and straightened. A little goes a long way and it took me a while to get the right amount on my hair. A light pump of the product is enough for my medium/long hair without making it greasy. It’s also a great product for those who have blonde hair or ombre hair because it’s a clear oil, it won’t tint your hair colour. The ends of my hair are so prone to snapping and this, amongst other products, has definitely helped prevent the ends of my hair breaking.
A Model Recommends Co Lab Dry Shampoo is my favourite dry shampoo of them all. I have mentioned this over and over on my blog and Twitter. It’s just an excellent product. My one down side is that it doesn’t seem to last that long – however saying that I do go to town with it. It doesn’t leave white powder on your hair like other leading brands of dry shampoo and it smells so fresh. Rio is probably my favourite scent but there are so many to choose from. I wouldn’t use anything else on those in between hair washing days.
V05 Nourish My Shine is the heat defence spray I always reach for. It adds a great shine to my hair and makes me feel like I’ve had a professional blow dry, however my aching arms from the hairdryer often bring me back to reality. I believe this product is a big part in the condition of my hair right now, it’s excellent. It’s also pink and who doesn’t love a pink product?
Elvive Extraordinary Oil is my second favourite oil. I wouldn’t suggest it for blonde or ombre hair, I felt it gave a bit of an orange tone to my ombre. Now that I am brunette I use it a lot more and it’s a lovely, lovely product. I use this more if my hair is feeling a bit frazzled because it has heat protection in and also if I fancy changing up my routine. I wouldn’t say it’s any less nourishing than the OGX product.
My hair is in such a healthy condition and probably the longest it’s ever been. 2-3 more inches and I will be a happy lady I think! What are your favourite hair care products? I am always looking to expand my range.

Great review! I really enjoyed reading this. I'm always on the lookout for hair care products so I'm pleased I found this. I agree about the coconut milk serum, I'm a big fan of that one. I really like the sound of the bedhead one and the V05 one I'll have to add them to my shopping list! 🙂

Love this post. I'm growing my hair as well, but the breakage is really getting me down. Iit seems to be the longer it gets, the weaker it gets. Boo. I shall definitly be hunting down some of these products, especially the Bedhead one. I kept seeing it in B+M and was on the verge of getting it, youve helped me make up my mind!
