A Festive Lipstick // Blogmas Day Seventeen

Who will you be kissing under the mistletoe? Whoever it may be, you’re going to need a very festive red lipstick for them to smudge. I’ve picked 4 shades of lipstick that I am loving for this festive time of year. Drugstore, affordable and good quality – the three things we all like in a lipstick. Any lipstick lover at this time of year has to have the perfect red lip so if you’re looking to invest and aren’t sure which reds are worth buying, I am here to assist.
Rimmel Moisture Renew 660 In Love With Ginger

If you’re after a super vibrate red that’ll keep your lips nourished and soft then this is ideal. I really like how bright this lipstick is and it looks pretty darn good against pale skin. It’s quite orange toned but is a great red lipstick. I like to wear this with dark colours, almost like a statement piece. If you’re pale with dry lips, this is is a great lipstick to try.

Rimmel Lasting Finish By Kate Moss in 01
We all love a bit of Kate Moss. They colours are so strong, the consistency is a dream and they’re nourishing for your lips. I really love the 01 red. For me, it’s a red lipstick that everyone needs as it’s perfect. The colour is super strong and long lasting. My total go to red – definitely recommend this for a classic festive red.
Max Factor 685 Mulberry
For an unconventional red, there is this purple toned lipstick from Max Factor. It’s a really shimmery and has a gorgeous colour (more red in real life than the photo). It’s really soft to put on and nourishes your lips. I love the name, of course and the packaging too which is a total bonus. This has been a favourite for so long and has been a constant in my make up collection.
Relvon Colorstay Boho Chic 093
If you’ve read my blog before, you’ll know I am freaking in love with the Relvon Colorstay lipsticks. They’re so nourishing for your lips and once applied it dries and leaves a consistent colour. I am probably about 3 lipsticks short of the entire collection, that’s how much I love them. If you suffer with dry lips and find that lipsticks go quite bitty and curdle then Relvon Colourstay lipsticks are for you. They’re not matte but they’re great.
